Christoph Merkelbach

Chris Merkelbach studied German as a foreign language and modern sinology at the Humboldt University of Berlin. From 1994 to 2014 he lived and worked in Taiwan at various universities, most recently at the National Taiwan University as an Associate Professor of German and Didactics GFL. In addition to intercultural communication, his research focuses on language teaching research, in particular in the field of multilingualism, e-learning and technical languages. Since 2014, he has been managing director of the Language Resource Center of the TU Darmstadt and head of the Center for Intercultural Competence (ZIKK) at the Language Resource Center of the TU Darmstadt, where he conducts intercultural workshops on Asia and Germany in German, English and Chinese.

何任遠(Christoph Merkelbach) 于柏林洪堡大学攻读教育学、德语作为外语教学以及现代汉学专业,并获得博士学位。他从1994年至2014年生活于台湾,并在当地多所大学任教过,最后在国立台湾大学任德语及教学法副教授;其研究重点除了跨文化交流之外,主要还包括语言教学研究,尤其是多语言性、电子教学和专业术语。自2014年以来他被任命为达姆施塔特工业大学语言中心业务领导人,跨文化培训中心(ZIKK)主任,由他主办的跨文化交流研讨会所使用的语言侧重于德语、英语及汉语,对提高受训人员外语和跨文化交流能力、增进亚洲和德国之间的相互理解和友谊起着重要作用。

Jillian Anderton

Jillian Anderton has a Master of Science in Linguistics from Oxford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Law from Canterbury University. She is a certified trainer for intercultural competencies (artop Institut / Humboldt Universität) with an emphasis on communication in Anglo-American contexts. The experience of living, working and studying in various parts of the world (New Zealand, Australia, USA, Singapore, Germany) gives her a unique insight into the issues involved in communicating effectively in terms of culture, language, interpersonal and business skills. Jillian also gives in-house intercultural and business skills workshops at some of Germany’s leading companies (Deutsche Bank, Daimler, Boehringer Ingelheim, RWE, EnBW) and is a trainer and coach with the Haufe Akademie.

Cornelia Personne

a fait des études de traduction et d’interprétariat, de langues et civilisations anglo-américaines et de Lettres modernes à Montpellier, puis à Heidelberg. Après sa thèse de doctorat en littérature française, elle a enseigné à différents publics. Actuellement, elle enseigne le français au centre de langues de la TU, où elle est également responsable de la section des langues romanes. Elle est formatrice interculturelle (certifiée IKUD) et propose des ateliers et séminaires interculturels à l’attention des étudiants en échange universitaire. Ce qui lui importe particulièrement, c’est d’ancrer les processus de compréhension interculturelle dans l’apprentissage de la langue cible. C’est pourquoi ses ateliers sont en règle générale bilingues (allemand-français).

Karin Pertoft

Karin Pertoft is from Sweden and studied German, Romance languages and literature and Scandinavian studies at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. After obtaining her Master’s degree, she then worked as a certified translator and interpreter for Swedish on a freelance basis at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. She translates and interprets for courts, private individuals, consulates and business and has taught her mother tongue Swedish for many years at various adult education centers and as a lecturer at the Goethe-University Frankfurt and the Technische Universität Darmstadt. She has been working at the Technical University of Darmstadt since 2007, where she heads the department of ‘Other Languages’ at the Language Resource Center. Since 2014, she has been a certified intercultural trainer.

kommer från Sverige och studerade först tysk, fransk och skandinavisk litteraturvetenskap vid Goethe – universitetet i Frankfurt am Main. Sedan dess har hon länge arbetat som auktoriserad översättare och tolk för svenska språket. Hon översätter och tolkar för domstolar, privatpersoner, konsulat samt näringslivet och undervisar sedan många år sitt modersmål svenska vid olika kommunala vuxenskolor och som timlärare vid universitetet i Frankfurt och Darmstadt. Sedan 2007 är hon anställd vid TU Darmstadt, där hon leder avdelningen ”Övriga språk” vid språkcentret. Sedan 2014 är hon certifierad interkulturell tränare (IKUD).

Barbara Stolarczyk

Barbara Stolarczyk comes from Poland. She studied Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies with a focus on Polish, German, Dutch and Intercultural Communication at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and at the Artesis Hogeschool in Antwerp. At the University of Essen-Duisburg she acquired an additional qualification as a media teacher. Since 2009, she has been a teacher of Slavic languages, German as a foreign language and intercultural communication at the Language Resource Center of the Technische Universität Darmstadt. Her main areas of focus are intercultural training in the context of Germany and Poland, as well as language teacher training for Polish, and examinations/certification.

Studiowała Język Polski, Język Niemiecki i Język Niderlandzki oraz Komunikację Międzykulturową na wydziale Lingwistyki Stosowanej na Uniwersytecie Jana Gutenberga w Moguncji oraz w Wyższej Szkole Artesis w Antwerpii. Ukończyła studium podyplomowe – Dydaktyka Medialna na Uniwersytecie Essen/Duisburg. Od 2009 roku pracuje jako kordynatorka języków słowiańskich, lektorka języka polskiego i języka niemieckiego jako obcego oraz trenerka komunikacji międzykulturowej w Centrum Języków Obcych na Uniwersytecie Technicznym w Darmstadt. Jej zainteresowania zawodowe to treningi międzykulturowe dot. Niemiec i Polski, kształcenie nauczycieli języków obcych jak i egzaminowanie i certyfikacja.
